Happy Halloween, Thanksgiving and MORE!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN, Thanksgiving and More..
I know Halloween was over a month ago, what can I say.. It has been a busy fall!!!!

The boys had a great Halloween this year, the weekend was full of festivities!! Friday (before Halloween) Bryson had a party at his preschool, it was so cute all the kids paraded around in their costumes! Bryson was a Dragon. Friday night we went with some friends tricking treating at the school. Brady was very unsure of his shark costume and ended up taking most of it off before we finished! Saturday we went to a Halloween Party. Sean and I dressed up as Smurfs, Bryson was Buzz Light-year ( Brady's costume from last year). Brady was himself, having no part in wearing a costume!! Sunday we went with some of our neighbors around the neighborhood. We FINALLY convinced Brady to wear a costume, He picked Buzz light year. So much for the cute Shark costume!!! Maybe next year!!

The beginning of November Nana Vickie came to watch the boys, Sean and I went on our annual getaway. This year we went to Chicago! I was a bridesmaid in my friend Julies wedding! The wedding was beautiful!!! We had a great time!! We got to catch up with friends we haven't seen in years. Sean got to play a lot of golf!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite Holidays! I love the smell of Turkey roasting all day, Everyone in the PJs watching the Macy's Day parade, and a whole day dedicated to counting blessings! Im thankful that we got to spend thanksgiving together as a family and were able to celebrate with great friends!
Here are few things the boys said they were thankful for;
"I'm thankful for My dog Mia" Bryson
"Im thankful for writing my name" Bryson
"Im thankful for Daddy" Brady
"Im thankful for Mommy" Bryson
"Im thankful for underwear" Brady
"Im thankful for the trees" Brady
"Im thankful for the turkey" Bryson
"I'm thankful for my Bryson" Brady

It's amazing how fast the boys are growing!! I wish there was a way that I could just stop time!!!! I love the ages and the phases they are at. I feel very blessed!

Fall Update!

Bryson on his first day of preschool!

It's been a while since my last blog, We have been very busy in the Meredith house! I can't believe it's already fall, one of our favorite times of the year!!! Football, apple picking, pumpkin everything, the beautiful leaves and amazing New England weather!!! We have made one trip to Holmbergs apple and pear picking and next week we are planning our annual Vermont apple picking trip!

Bryson just finished his first two full weeks of preschool. He has the same teachers as last year, which I think is great! It's nice how they have the teachers move classes with the children. The transition from 2 mornings a week to 5 seems to be going great! I was kind of worried that 5 days a week would be too much for him, but he seems to love it! After all he just goes for 2 1/2 hours a day. Brady is loving all this Mommy time. Last week we went to the Seaport, Aquarium and had a play date while Bryson was in school. We signed up for Storytime at the Library, hopefully he enjoys it more this time around! The boys are also playing soccer this fall!! Sean is coaching. They had and won their first game on Saturday. Brady scored his first goal!
Brady also said Good Bye to his ninny ( pacifier) this week. The ninny fairy came and took away all the ninnies to give them to all the crying babies. He is doing great without it!
Sean and I have been running in our free time. We ran the Block Island 15k a few weeks ago, and completed our first (The Niantic) half marathon together last weekend! It was a lot of fun!!

July

We have been enjoying our summer here in the Meredith house!! Bryson is at Sea School at the Aquarium. It just two mornings a week, he LOVES it! Today was Beluga Whale Day. Sean and I got to watch the kids feed the Beluga Whales. It was a lot of fun!!

Brady has been enjoying some mommy dates, which usually also consist of Starbucks, visiting the Mystic seaport and running around the Aquarium while Brother is in school. Last week our mom's group met at the Fire Station! Brady got a tour of the station along with a chance to "drive" the fire truck. He was in heaven!! He was so excited!!
Sean and I have been staying very busy. Sean has had a lot of time off, which has been really nice. We have manage to take the boys to Six Flags five Friday's in a row! I think we have enjoyed our six flags trips just as much as the boys do! We also signed up to run the Niantic half marathon! We are both up to 9/10 miles, a lot of Ibuprofen and a few more weeks of training we will be ready! Other then that, our summer is going by way too fast. I love this time with the boys and all of our actives!! Bryson and the Beluga Whales! Brady at the Fire Station

Happy 4th!

"You have to love a nation that celebrates its independence every July 4, not with a parade of guns, tanks, and soldiers who file by the White House in a show of strength and muscle, but with family picnics where kids throw Frisbees, the potato salad gets iffy, and the flies die from happiness. You may think you have overeaten, but it is patriotism." ~Erma Bombec
Happy Independence Day!
Freedom is something we definitely don't take for granted! We wanted to say Thank You to all the military protecting our freedom and a very special Thanks to the families who support them!!
We have been enjoying the great weather! Sean and took the boys to Six Flags on Friday. It was nice because we got to enjoy the water park along with all the rides. It was a ton of fun. We stayed there for 6 hours!!! Who knew two little boys could go that long!!!
